My name is Vanessa Shipley (Ms Vanessa) and I am thrilled to have returned to Ascent! This is my 8th year as a paraeducator. I graduated with my associates degree from Snow College and hope to go back to school one day for another degree.

When I'm not at school, I'm usually at home drawing and creating art with my husband. We have a cat named Nacho who loves eating turkey and ice cream. I love collecting wacky earrings and other accessories like hair bows, and especially I love wearing them to school.

Most of all, I love what I do here at Ascent. I love making connections with people and helping students to learn and grow!
