Biography

Hello Ascent Academy families! I am so excited for the opportunity to be the first grade aide and work with your great kids.  First graders are at such a fun age and watching them learn new things is so exciting to see.  

I was born in England and when I was three my parents moved my sisters and I over to America to start a new life for us.  They bought a motel in southern Oregon, in a very rural town and that is where I grew up.  My husband and I moved to Utah 12 years ago for him to attend school and we just never left.  We love living in this beautiful state.  I have four kids who all attend Ascent, and love it.  I love charter schools and the different options they give our kids for learning.  When I’m not driving my kids to different activities or cleaning my house or cooking meals, I do have some hobbies.  I love to relax and watch movies, or read a good book, I also have been known to spend a few hours coloring or helping build some legos.  I also love to plant flowers in the spring and summer and take care of my flowers beds.  I love going on walks and swimming, and going on trips with my family.  Thank you for the opportunity, to allow me to help your child’s education grow.
