Shelby Jacquez

Fourth Grade

Hello, my name is Shelby Jacquez (pronounced Hawk-ez), and I’m so happy and grateful to be working with this amazing group of 4th graders!

This is my seventh year in education, and I can confidently say that 4th grade is my absolute favorite. I love the energy, curiosity, and growth that happens at this age, and I feel lucky to be part of it.

I was born and raised in beautiful Washington state at the base of Mount Rainer but moved to Utah to pursue my education and I’ve loved it here ever since. I’m married and have two wonderful kids who keep life exciting and full of joy.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll usually find me with my family, reading, crafting or dreaming of the beach.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, laughter, and growth together!
