My name is Sara McPherson! I have lived in Utah most of my life, mainly growing up in St. George. My family moved to Draper almost 8 years ago. I have been married for almost 13 years and have two kids, ages 11 and 9. My favorite thing to do outside of school is playing the piano, which I have been doing for over 20 years.

I got my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from the University of Phoenix and just got my Elementary Education license. This is my fifth year teaching and my “almost” second year at Ascent. I have previously taught 3rd grade for two years and 4th grade for two years. I am excited to learn and grow as a teacher even further. I am looking forward to getting to know the fourth graders and providing a safe and fun environment to learn and grow.
