Nina Armstrong

Special Education Lead

My name is Nina Armstrong and I am so thrilled to be at Ascent Academy!

I come from a background in Special Education having taught all grades Kindergarten through 6th grade and working in Utah, Texas, and Virginia. Most recently I have been at Utah Valley University as an Accessibility Advisor supporting students by providing them access to accommodations at the higher education level.

I am committed to fostering and building meaningful connections and expanding access and support to students with disabilities. I am a passionate advocate for accessibility and equity in education.

Outside of school I love hiking, reading, crafting, traveling, and British television. I also love my 3 kids and my 2 cats, Bruce and Honey Lemon.
