Hi! I’m originally from Los Angeles, but I’ve called Utah home since 1997. Outside of work, I love baking, crafting, enjoying our beautiful state, and spending time with my husband of 20 years, my stepson, and his wife.

I’ve been a part of the world of education since 2011 and hold a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I’ve had the opportunity to teach first grade, lead K–6 computer prep, work closely with teachers as an aide, and coach Head Start preschool teachers. Each of these experiences has helped me grow as an educator and strengthened my love for teaching. I have a strong interest in academic interventions and enjoy finding ways to support each student’s learning and growth. I also value learning from my fellow teachers and supporting them by sharing ideas, resources, and encouragement. I'm thrilled to be a part of Ascent Academy and look forward to working with students and collaborating with my fellow teachers.
