Hi! My name is Neydi Membreno and I am very happy to be the Physical Education instructor at Ascent Academy this year! I grew up in California, and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Early Child Development from California State University, Los Angeles. I’ve enjoyed working with children in different learning environments from early intervention (18 months-3 years old), preschools, and ran a family daycare for 12 years.

I have been married for 23 years and we have two wonderful daughters. My oldest is 22 yrs. old a senior in college, and my youngest is 18 yrs old she will be starting College in the spring. We recently moved from Downey, California to Saratoga Spring, Utah this summer. We miss the beach but we are very grateful to live in this beautiful state with its amazing views of mountains, rivers, and lakes! We love the outdoors, so you can find us hiking, site seeing Utah’s waterfalls or just bicycling around our neighborhood.
