Monique Otufangavalu

Instructional Coach

Hello! I’m Monique Otufangavalu, and I teach upper elementary special education. I earned my degree from Southern Utah University and have since gained experience in middle school settings and as an Education Director in adolescent and young adult treatment.

I am dedicated to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments and am committed to my students' personal and academic growth. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, exercising, traveling, and camping with my family. These activities not only enrich my life but also enhance my approach to teaching and connecting with my students.

I am excited to join the Ascent team and contribute to the school’s mission. I look forward to building meaningful relationships within the school community and making a positive impact on my students' lives.
