With 18 years of experience in education, including more than eight years as a Computer Science teacher, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. As a librarian and technology educator, I enjoy blending literature, technology, and the arts to create engaging opportunities that help students see connections across subjects and discover new ways to express their ideas.
I believe that every student deserves the chance to explore, create, and ask questions about the world around them. Whether introducing emerging technologies, coding, digital media, or innovative learning experiences, my goal is to spark curiosity while giving students the skills and confidence to become thoughtful learners, creative problem-solvers, and responsible digital citizens.
I strive to make the library and computer science classroom a place where imagination and innovation come together, empowering students to explore new ideas, embrace challenges, and continue growing long after they leave the classroom.
Away from school, out in the wild, I love spending time with my family. My daughter Gracie, a Firefighter EMT and my dog Brody, who loves his morning walks. I'm always testing a new gadget, reading a new children’s book, or exploring art.
"In a world full of answers, the greatest gift we can give children is the courage to keep asking questions."
