My name is Mariel Miller, and I am proud to be part of the Ascent Lehi Husky team!  I am originally from Costa Rica, but have spent the past 18 years here in Utah. I am a native Spanish speaker and have spent the past 7 years teaching Spanish at Ascent Lehi. I have also spent the past three years working as a 2nd grade aid.

I have a true passion and love working with our amazing students. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, language, and social, —is a challenge that I gratefully strive to achieve daily.  My classroom helps nurture this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

Personally, I have been married for 18 years and have three children who are 15, 10, and 10 and have attended or currently attend Ascent Lehi.  We love to watch our kids' sports—baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and skiing.  I also enjoy latin music, reading, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
