Hello, Ascent West Valley community! We are going to have a great year learning and growing together. I am excited to begin my 3rd year as principal. We are continuing to grow and I can't wait to see all of you for our monthly community and family events!

I have had a variety of roles and responsibilities throughout my educational career that have prepared me to bring a collaborative and accountability-based approach to our school. I am a lifelong learner with a Bachelor’s degree in History with Teacher Licensure, and I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership as well as Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) along with a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I am currently in the final year of my Doctoral program at the University of Utah.

I enjoy traveling and exploring other cultures. Spending time with my family is always a priority. When possible, I enjoy attending live sporting events, plays, concerts, comedy shows, and other fun events. I love to ski and mountain bike while escaping the city.
