Liz Huntington

First Grade

I am a Michigan native but have been in Utah for the last 15 years. I have taught for 20 years in Florida, Michigan and Utah and 1st graders are my favorite! I am a huge science “nerd” and get super excited about doing science lessons. I am newly married (June 22nd!) and I have a 5 wonderful children (ages 19, 17, 15, 12, and 10). We are very busy with family activities like camping, swimming, watching movies and playing games together. My goal this summer was to spend more time with my children and keep working on my Masters Degree!

My favorite quote is: Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift that's why it is called the present!

I am so excited to get this year started and see how high these kiddos will soar! LET'S GO!!!!
