This is my 9th year teaching and my fifth year in sixth grade at Ascent. I’m originally from Southern California and have lived in more places than I can count. My husband and I have a blended family of five kids, ranging from a second grader to a high school senior.

Outside of school, I love weightlifting, paddleboarding, sunshine, naps, binge-watching a good show, and anything true crime.

In our math class, mistakes are where learning grows. You don’t have to get it right the first time. Be willing to try, ask questions, learn from your mistakes, and keep going.
