I’m Kim Adams, and I’m so excited to be teaching kindergarten at Ascent Academy! I’ve spent the past 10 years in education as a parent volunteer, aide, substitute teacher, and now a full-time teacher. I graduated from Brigham Young University–Idaho in 2022 and began my teaching career in 2nd grade before making my way to kindergarten.

I believe school should be a place where every child feels safe, loved, accepted, and excited to learn. My classroom is filled with fun, laughter, music, bright colors, polka dots, and LOTS of love! I bring enthusiasm, kindness, patience, a little goofiness, and plenty of positive energy to everything we do. I truly believe kids learn best when they’re having fun!

Outside of school, I’ve been married to my husband since 2007, and we live in Stansbury Park with our three amazing kids—a son and two daughters. Between sports, dance, and everyday life, we’re always busy! When I get a quiet moment, I love curling up with a good book.

I can’t wait for a year full of learning, laughter, and magical kindergarten moments. Let’s make it the best year yet!
