Biography
Kaitlyn Huseby
Vice Principal
Hello! I am originally from Logandale, Nevada, but I have lived in sunny St.George, Utah for the past decade. There, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at DSU and later obtained my Master of Educational Leadership at SUU. I started my career at George Washington Academy where I taught both 1st and 3rd grade. My time at GWA, as well as my experience student teaching in Switzerland, made me fall in love with charter schools. I am excited to transition to Utah County and be a part of Ascent Academies’ newest campus in Saratoga Springs.
In my spare time, I enjoy making handmade greeting cards, baking, watching sports (Go Jazz!), and exercising. I try to travel often and experience different places, however, I always find myself at a Disney theme park once a year.
I cannot imagine myself in any other field than education as I have an innate desire to continuously learn, as well as help develop others to reach their full potential. I am excited to work alongside Ascent faculty to serve students and their families.
