My name is Julie Wixom, and I am so happy to be teaching at Ascent. I joined the Ascent Saratoga Springs team in 2022, shortly after relocating to Utah from California. I switched careers at that point, and I feel like I've found my purpose in teaching special education. The students here are the brightest, funniest, most amazing kids I've ever had the chance to work with, and it's a privilege to teach them.  I also get to be a part of the most amazing team in the history of the world. No hyperbole, that's just the truth.

When I'm not here, I like hiking, camping, photography and yoga. I live in Eagle Mountain with my husband, three kids and two dogs. I love Utah so far and I feel lucky to be here at Ascent.
