Hello! My name is Jeanmarie Auxier. I have been married to my husband for 15 years, and we are proud parents of a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. Originally from Puerto Rico, I grew up in Connecticut, where I miss the abundance of trees, especially in the Fall. However, I have enjoyed embracing the mountain life, though nothing beats the island breeze!

I am a graduate of Brigham Young University (BYU), and this marks my second year teaching second grade. A fun fact about me is that my diverse background includes 18 years of ballet technique and performing arts, complemented by 7 years of experience as a corporate paralegal. These experiences have enriched my teaching approach and help me connect with my students in meaningful ways. 

I believe in the value of the Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) as a framework for education.  Every year I look forward to creating a dynamic classroom environment where students can explore, innovate, and collaborate. My priority is to provide a safe and positive space where young, creative minds can thrive and become lifelong learners. I am thrilled to get to teach 2nd grade again!
