Growing up in a family with nine children was busy, educational, and pleasant (most of the time). I grew up in the wonderful city of Murray, Utah.

After High School graduation I attend Snow College graduating with an Associate Degree. I transferred to BYU-Provo majoring in Elementary Education with a reading emphasis. 

While in college I met and married my forever companion. We have seven children and 12 grandchildren. After college we moved to Texas (twice), Colorado, Mexico City, Mexico to serve a 2 year mission for our church and have now settled on an acre property in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

I enjoy baking, crocheting, gardening, paper crafting, quilting, sewing and walking.

One of my favorite things to do is assist and watch people discover that they can learn new things even though they weren’t sure if they would succeed when they began exploring and learning. I am excited to continue this joy filled adventure at Ascent Academies of Utah, Saratoga Springs Campus with the school staff and students.
