Biography
Jaime Batschi
Intervention Specialist
I'm excited to be teaching with an amazing team here at Ascent! This is my 15th year teaching with most of my years in 5th and 6th grades in local charter schools.
I was born and mostly raised in the Seattle area and came out to Utah for college. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from BYU and a Masters of Education from SUU. I care about instilling the love of learning in my students and see them as individuals with unique needs and paths.
Outside of school, I enjoy sewing, singing, and playing the flute. I have two cats who I spoil and I occasionally foster kittens. As a Seattle girl, I'm not a fan of the summer heat or winter cold here but I do enjoy the outdoors in the spring and fall. I have enjoyed being part of the Saratoga community for over 10 years now and look forward to getting to know the families at Ascent.
