Biography
Emily Bolman
Music and Chorus
I joined the Ascent team in the fall of 2018, and it has been a remarkable experience. The students here are exceptionally talented, and the faculty and staff have become like family to me. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Choral Education from the University of Utah, where I had the privilege of singing with the University of Utah Chamber Choir. After 10 years of teaching Reading in Motion, I remain as passionate as ever about the program—what better way to learn to read than through music? I am thrilled to bring this innovative approach to our students at Ascent. In addition to my role as a music educator, I serve as the Schoolwide Enrichment Model Specialist, allowing me to help all of our students at Ascent discover and develop their unique gifts and talents.
I am also a proud member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, which has provided me with the opportunity to tour in Mexico, the Philippines, and soon in Atlanta, Georgia, Florida, and Peru.
