I have lived in Utah all my life and have many years of experience working with pre-K through 6th Grade students. My emphasis has been working with pre-kindergarten through 4th grade students and children with autism. I have enjoyed my association with Ascent's Special Education department since 2019, especially the opportunities to guide children toward their unique behavior and educational goals. I learn much from staff and students alike.

Outside of work, I love time with my family, which involves traveling to Florida and Canada to keep those family ties strong. My best friend is my husband of 42 years. We have one son, 2 daughters, a Hungarian son-in-law, a beautiful daughter-in-law, a grandson, a granddaughter, and a Havanese grand dog named Calli. We all like playing games together. I enjoy watching, listening to, and reading a variety of genres including mystery, suspense, biographical, historical fiction, and romantic comedies. Additional hobbies are gardening and creating.
