Hello!  My name is Devin Brookover, and I am thrilled by the opportunity to teach first grade at our new Ascent Academies campus in Saratoga Springs.  I have been an elementary teacher for the past 9 years and have taught second grade, third grade, and kindergarten through sixth grade art, music, and performing arts.  This is my third year teaching first grade, and I absolutely love it!  I enjoy sharing my passion and enthusiasm for learning with my students, and I look forward to encouraging each child to explore their unique and individual talents and interests.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with my degree in elementary education in 2013, and I fell in love with the West when I moved to Arizona in 2015, but I have really loved settling into my new home in Utah!  I am an avid lover of everything Disney, and my hobbies include ballet dancing, performing in musical theater, aerial acrobatics, reading, and playing board games.

I strive to ensure that each child is able to reach their fullest potential by providing a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment, and I can’t wait to meet you all this school year!
