I was born and raised mostly in the Sacramento, California area. I am the oldest of 6 children and the only child that has a college degree. I worked very hard to attain that degree as it took me nearly 28 years to accomplish it. I am married and worked full-time to help raise my six children along with my husband. I took college courses while raising my children. I finally finished my bachelor’s degree in 2006 and went on to complete my master’s degree in 2008. My first love of school was math which then extended to Computer Science. I hold an MBA in Business with an emphasis in Technology Management and Human Resource Management. 

My husband and I have been married for nearly 50 years and have 23 grandchildren, and a recent great-grandson. We moved around a great deal for the first years of marriage including living in Washinton state and Illinois. Then moved back to California where I finished my associate degree in computer science. We moved to Lehi, Utah in August of 2001 and have lived here ever since. 

I worked for the military for 10 years as a systems administrator under Fort Douglas. I love working for the military and saw my patriotism increase during that time. 

I have always been around children and spent a great deal of my life teaching and training children. In 2013 I decided to start Substitute teaching where I found I had a real knack for it. I acquired a position at a charter school where I taught 4th grade for 2 years. In that time, I finished all the courses I needed to get my teaching license in elementary education. I went on to teach at another school then eventually was hired to teach at a junior High School I have since obtained a license in secondary education. 

Some unique things about me are that I am one of 65 grandchildren on my mother's side and the oldest of 25 cousins on my dad's side. I sing and have taught voice lessons for many years. I can work on cars thanks to my dad and have decorated many cakes over the years thanks to my mom.
