Hello! My name is Chelsi Ostergaard, I have been teaching since 2007 and hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Westminster College. Throughout my career, I have taught students in both early childhood and elementary classrooms and have had the opportunity to work with children of all learning styles and abilities.

I am passionate about creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Building strong relationships with my students is one of my favorite parts of teaching, and I love helping children discover their strengths, gain confidence, and celebrate their growth throughout the school year. My background in Montessori education has strengthened my belief in hands-on learning, student independence, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

In addition to my teaching degrees, I hold MACTE-accredited Early Childhood and Lower Elementary Montessori credentials. Over the years, I have also served in leadership roles supporting teachers and developing curriculum.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy golfing, bowling, camping, traveling, spending time with my family, and being outdoors. I am looking forward to partnering with families and helping make this a wonderful year of learning and growth for every student!
