Biography

Hello, my name is Chelsea Goff and I absolutely love being a teacher here at Ascent

Academy! I am super excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade math this school year!

When my youngest was in 2nd grade, I decided to go back to school and get my

degree. I graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in

Education and a Level 2 Math Endorsement in the spring of 2017. Teaching math is

definitely something I feel very passionate about and I hope to help all of my students

gain the confidence and skills they need to be successful when solving difficult or

challenging problems. Having a classroom environment where students feel

comfortable and safe to learn is also something I feel is important, so I strive to create a

room where respect and positivity are cultivated.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my wonderful husband, my adult

children, and of course, my three dogs! I also enjoy running, crocheting, reading, and

going on vacation to Hawaii. When the weather is nice, you can usually find me outside

on my deck enjoying a good logic puzzle!
