Hello!  I am so excited to be joining the Ascent Academy team and to teach 5th grade.  I spent the last year teaching STEM and robotics in Canyons School District.    I have also taught robotics with Verizon’s Innovative Learning Summer Camp. I am so excited to work with the students and parents in this upcoming year.

I graduated from Utah State University with my bachelor's in Instructional Technology and Learning Science (with a minor in history).

One of my favorite things is reading and understanding new parts of history, and I am often found with a novel or nonfiction book, learning about something new in the world.  I can’t wait to encourage students to read and explore the world around them and learn something new every day.
