Hello! I am the school social worker here at Ascent West Valley.

I have been part of the Ascent family for the past 7 years. Prior to joining Ascent, I spent 10 years working in foster care, where I had the opportunity to support children and families through a variety of experiences. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Utah State University—Go Aggies!

I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support our students and families and to be part of such a wonderful school community. Building relationships, helping students feel supported, and being a resource for families are some of the things I enjoy most about my role.

When I’m not at school spoiling my students, you can usually find me playing board games with friends, cheering on the Utah Jazz, or playing fetch with my dog, Harvey—and, of course, giving him far too many treats!
