Biography

I have lived my entire life in the Salt Lake Valley, attending Utah State University and Salt Lake Community College. Much of my experience before working in a charter school was acquired at the City of South Jordan as the City Administrator's secretary and City Recorder. However, this will be my 16th year working for a charter school. 

My role now is to train Office Managers at each campus and assist with any network needs.

My husband and I have three children, who attended local charter schools for several years and I have 3 grandchildren.  I have volunteered for many years at my children’s schools, PTAs, and various community groups. I also organized the very first scrapbooking categories of competition for the Salt Lake County and Utah State fairs.

When not at school, you will find me spending time with and supporting my family, and traveling to new places.  I am still thrilled to be working at Ascent Academies being able to say I was here for "Year One" and beyond!
