Amanda Lee

First Grade

I have been teaching for over two years and recently earned my Master’s in Education from Western Governors University. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Utah. Before becoming a teacher, I was a stay-at-home mom to my two daughters. I believe that being both a mom and an educator helps me lead with a balance of love and logic in the classroom.I’m passionate about hands-on learning and enjoy doing science and art projects with my students—activities that I believe are essential for helping young minds grow and thrive. Outside of teaching and lesson planning, I love spending time with my family and our dog, Luna. I also enjoy reading, gardening, and have recently taken up hand stitching as a creative outlet.
