Aloha! My name is Coach Nahinu, and I’m excited to be teaching K–6th Grade Physical Education this upcoming school year. I’m originally from Wai‘anae, Hawai‘i, and I’ve been in education for the past 14 years. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching secondary English, Health, and Physical Education.

I’ve always had a love for sports, both as a coach and a lifelong fan. Go Las Vegas Raiders! Outside of school, I’m a proud father of three amazing kids. This year marks a new chapter in my life, as I’ve just become an empty nester after sending my daughter off to Norfolk State University to play college volleyball. Even more exciting, I recently stepped into my greatest role “Papa” after welcoming my first granddaughter in July. I’m truly looking forward to an awesome year of movement, teamwork, and fun. Let’s make this school year one to remember!
