I have had a great time being a part of the Ascent Junior High team. I am the youngest of 5 with New England roots. Originally from Rhode Island, I moved out West and I spent my childhood in Provo. I then spent my junior high and high school years in Mud Lake, Idaho. 

I completed my B.S. in Business Management in 2014 at BYU-Idaho, after which I completed my M.S. in Sport Management at The University of Southern Mississippi. During that time, I worked as a student assistant for both their college football and basketball programs. It has been great to get to know coaches and players at the high school, college,and professional level of sports. I loved being involved with student/athlete life, and seeing the connection between athletics and education change lives. As a CTE teacher, I hope my passion for athletics and business will help drive creativity and expand career exploration for all of my CTE students. 

My wife was raised in Mississippi, and has had a great time experiencing Utah after completing service in the Air Force. We now reside in West Jordan, and have a 5 year old boy who is the greatest! We love the outdoors here, hanging out with old friends, and love to travel. I enjoy competing in Spartan and other trail races, and am excited to travel the states competing in them in the future. I’m a sports junkie, a foodie, and love exploring new cultures, especially the history and connection between food and culture.
