My career has grown from my childhood experiences. In elementary school I spent my recesses in the special education room spending time with my peers. I loved getting to build relationships with these students, and continued to spend time in the special education classroom all the way through high school. I earned my B.Sc degree in human development from Utah State University, and recently began my M.A at ASU in Applied Behavior Analysis. Previous to coming to Ascent I worked in the clinical setting as a registered behavior technician for nearly two years.
I've been married for three years to my husband, Matthew. Together we love to travel, we are on a mission to visit all 50 states! In our three years we have been to 22 out of 50, so we are making progress. We love to spend time outdoors, especially on the slopes! I live by the quote "only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile", I love getting to serve others and see the growth of others.
