Ms. Newton grew up in Central New York, where she attended college receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master Degree in Reading. Ms. Newton taught elementary school for more than 17 years and completed her Administrative Leadership Endorsement. She has two wonderful children, Matt and Lauren.

Ms. Newton loves outdoor adventure. Hiking in the National Parks and paddleboarding are her favorite summertime activities. The winter wonderland on the ski slopes with her family is one of the beauties of living in Utah.
